Welcome back to the Fantasy Alarm NBA DFS Value Vault! We have a nine-game slate on tap in the Association for this kick-start to the week, so let’s dive into some value plays!
DRAFTKINGS:
1.) Ricky Rubio PG (MIN) $5,100 –
Rubio has put up 40+ fantasy points in two of his last three contests played and has gone for 28 or more fantasy points in four of his last five games. This game is showing a current total of 238.5 and we all know that although the Nets can score a ton of points, they can also give up a ton also. Rubio comes in as a solid option here at his price on DraftKings for this match up.
2.) Josh Richardson SG/SF (DAL) $4,600 –
Think we have a smidge of a buy-low spot here for JRich as he has been trending upwards over the last couple of games. Richardson has notched out 28.3, 32.3, and 29.8 DraftKings fantasy points in three of his last four games played, while also seeing 30, 29, 33, and 36 fantasy points over his last four. He gets a date tonight at home with an old friend, the Sixers, also on of his former teams.
3.) Danny Green SF (PHI) $4,300 –
On the flip side of Richardson, we have Green here who’s price sunk also due to missing the Sixer’s last game on Saturday. Green has played pretty well lately despite the absence, recording 22 or more fantasy points in five of his last six games played. This game has a modest total of 225 and Green has been active in multiple categories as of late. Think if he is hitting his three-point shot here, this could be a nice spot for him.
FANDUEL
1.) Joe Ingles SG (UTA) $5,500 –
Ingles continues to get extended run with the Jazz dealing with either resting Mike Conley or injured Jordan Clarkson (who is doubtful to play again tonight). Nonetheless, Ingles continues to also put up really good numbers with the extra opportunities he is getting. Ingles went for 32.6 FanDuel fantasy points last time out against the Kings in 31 minutes of action with 20 actual, three boards, and six assists. He has now notched out back-to-back 30+ fantasy point games over his last two while playing 34 and 31 minutes. Gets a remarkable match up tonight with the Wizards at home.
2.) Cole Anthony PG (ORL) $5,500 –
Anthony has now played three games for the Magic since returning from injury and I would imagine it will not be very much longer until he claims the starting PG role once again from Carter-Williams. Anthony has played 25, 25, and 26 minutes off the bench in those three games, while putting up 23.7, 28.2, and 32.9 FanDuel fantasy points to boot. Gets a lovely match up with the Spurs here tonight at home.
3.) James Johnson PF (NOP) $4,900 –
With the Pelicans also dealing with multiple injuries currently, Johnson has been able to get more playing time off the bench. Johnson has now played 25 or more minutes in every game so far with the Pelicans. As a result, he has touched at least 22 or more fantasy points in six of those seven games played, while four of the seven have gone for 25+. The match up here with Kings is a good one, and the total on this game sits at 231.5 currently, so there should be a nice game environment for fantasy as well.
