Nets vs. Bulls Prediction: Nikola Vucevic Double-Double (+140 on Bet365) *BET OF THE NIGHT

Well, maybe not exclusively rebounds, as we look at our first bet on The Well in over a month. Nikola Vucevic is back, and we are betting on the big man to do what he does, average a double double. The Chicago Bulls host the Brooklyn Nets at United Center in an Eastern Conference showdown.

Vucevic missed seven consecutive games before returning on March 10th, and he earned a double-double in his return. Prior to that his last match was on February 22nd, and in that match he recorded a double double. Today his rebounding line is set at 8.5 and heavily juiced on the over. Vucevic is averaging 19.0 points and 10.3 rebounds per game, and a double double is always a possibility with the big man from Montenegro. His career rebounding average is 10.5, and he has fresh legs tonight against a team playing for a draft pick.

The Nets allow an average of 52.2 rebounds per game this season, but in their most recent match they allowed 61. Over their last three games they have allowed an average of 59.0 per game, and they are not playing as aggressive as earlier this season. This should benefit Vucevic with more rebounds throughout the game.

The Bulls are in tenth place of the Eastern Conference, are on a three game win streak, and only 2.5 games back from eighth place. As bad as their season has been they have a great opportunity to make the playoffs. They have something meaningful to play for and are slight (-2.5) favorites in this match. Magic vs. Pelicans Prediction: Yves Missi O7.5 Rebounds (-115 on DraftKings)

Missi averages 8.0 rebounds per game and this prediction requires him to earn his average tonight. He has eight or more rebounds in five of his last ten games, and the Orlando Magic have been one of the worst rebounding teams in the Association lately. 

Although they are a top six team in rebounds allowed this season, they gave up 77 in their most recent match. That is almost too many rebounds to imagine, and they have allowed an average of 59.3 over their last three games.

The Pelicans are not worried about tanking because they are already there. Instead they would like to get a look at their roster, evaluate the talent they have, and plan for roster construction next year. Missi is part of the future and will have an impact in this match with Kelly Olynyk listed as out.
