Tyrese Haliburton covered his assist line, but failed short by one point and one assist of the double double. Rudy Gobert also went over his rebounding line, breaking the prediction of an under. Tough break for Fantasy Alarm, but the parlay was successful as both the Cleveland Cavaliers and Indiana Pacers won their matches.

NBA Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 1/19

The Betting Bungalow is in the basement of the data center to seek another sweep. There are seven NBA games today, beginning at 3:00 PM ET. That match happens to feature the bet of the night

Spurs vs Heat Prediction: Victor Wembanyama 10+ Rebounds & SA Money Line (+170 on Bet365)  Bet of the Night

The San Antonio Spurs play the Miami Heat in the first game of the day. Victor Wembanyama has been playing well lately, particularly with his blocks. He has recorded 14 blocks over his past two games and that has caused his block line to be at 3.5.

He has also rebounded well with 12 in each of his last two games, this has caused his rebounding line to move to 11.5. Therefore teasing down is suggested to cover a blowout or potential rough rebounding night. Wembanyama has recorded 10 or more rebounds in six of his last seven matches, and should have at least ten today.

The Spurs are underdogs going into the game and have lost two in a row. However the Heat have lost three in a row and do not look in rhythm. Wembanyama is going to be a problem for the Heat in the same manner that Nikola Jokic was a problem in their last match.

The money line has stand alone value, but combining it with a teased down rebounding line of Wembanyama puts it at almost two to one odds. Put a unit on this same game parlay, and expect Wembanyama to have a great game.

Bulls vs Trail Blazers Prediction: Nikola Vucevic Over 10.5 Rebounds (-130 on Draftkings Sportsbook)

The Chicago Bulls are playing and that means we are betting on The Well. Nikola Vucevic has focused on rebounds and Fantasy Alarm has been stacking the units due to it. He is The Well after all, and the Portland Trail Blazers are stuck at the bottom once again.

The Trail Blazers allow the fifth most rebounds to opposing teams, with 53.9 per game. They have allowed an outstanding 61.0 over the past three games, and 71 rebounds in their most recent match. That is difficult to fathom really, that an opponent had 71 rebounds against a professional NBA team. A complete lack of effort and a high volume of field goals allowed that.

Vucevic has 44 rebounds over his past three games and has become a force once again. The Bulls lost every match during that span, but the good news for them is they are on the road. Their winning percentage is better on the road than at home.

Vucevic is the best front court player on the court, if not the best player of both teams. He is playing against DeAndre Ayton who is a good center, but averages less minutes per game than Vucevic. Both of their rebounds will come in bursts, and in stretches.

Put a unit on The Well, and expect to receive a profit on the late night game.

NBA Player Props & Other Picks Today, 1/19

Of all seven games only two feature teams in the playoff, and of those two only one is an Eastern versus Western Conference dual. It features our last plus odd player prop of Sunday.

Nuggets vs Magic Prediction: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Over 1.5 Steals (+145 on Bet365) *2.0 Units

The unmentioned king of defense, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, plays against his former team at the Kia Center. The Orlando Magic host the Denver Nuggets with a 6:00 PM ET tip-off, and the spread is currently -8 in favor of the Nuggets.

They may cover that, or the Magic could play better defense and close the gap, but the player proposition is independent of the outcome of the game. Caldwell-Pope will be playing great defense against his former team.

He has two NBA Championships, one with the Los Angeles Lakers and one with the Denver Nuggets. This is his first season as an Orlando Magic player and is doing exactly what is asked of him, playing great defense. Both previous teams have experienced a rise in points allowed after his departure.

Caldwell-Pope is averaging 1.6 steals per game, and has 2 or more in four of his last ten games. The Nuggets pass often on offense, and look for quick, turnaround passes for fastbreak points. This leads to several turnovers, and Caldwell-Pope will know his former teammates better than most.

He knows Nikola Jokic likes to pass to a player at the half court after a quick rebound. He knows where Jamal Murray, Michael Porter, and Aaron Gordon like to be on the floor, and their screen rotations. He should have two steals and possibly more. Caldwell-Pope is averaging over 30 minutes per game, and will cover this plus odds proposition. Put two units for him to do just that.
