Time to rally the troops and find a few good angles in my NBA best bets today, as there is plenty of great NBA action. There are seven games today with three teams in back-to-back games: the Chicago Bulls, the Golden State Warriors, and the Sacramento Kings

Late winter is proving to be tough sledding in the betting world as the props have tightened up. The most consistent team in the NBA is currently the Orlando Magic, and not many would have seen that coming.

Injuries are starting to mount across the NBA and teams are fighting for playoff position. It’s great basketball to watch even if the betting is unpredictable. The Law of Averages is on our side, and today Fantasy Alarm NBA Best Bets focuses on both games on TNT: Miami Heat at Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics at Denver Nuggets

Those are two high quality games with player props in each of them. There is also a wager in the Minnesota Timberwolves at Indiana Pacers, featuring the leading Defensive Player of the Year candidate, Rudy Gobert. The Bet of the Night comes from a player on a team that has not won ten games this season: the Detroit Pistons and Cade Cunningham

Expert NBA Best Bet & Pick Today, 3/7

Cade Cunningham Player Props: Over 21.5 Points (-110 on BetMGM)

Cade Cunningham has been the one consistently good player for the Detroit Pistons. Tonight, the Pistons host the Brooklyn Nets, are only two-point underdogs, and almost even on the money line.

This is the Pistons first of six straight home games, and they have an opportunity to get their tenth win tonight. If they are going to do that Cunningham will have to contribute on the offensive side. He averages 22.2 points per game and has covered this line in five of his last seven games. The Nets allow the thirteenth most points to opposing guards, and he is averaging 28.0 points against Brooklyn in his young career.

He has attempted nineteen or more field goals in five of his last seven games and should have that many attempts or more tonight. The Nets allow 114.1 points per game and the Pistons score 114.5 per game. If the Law of Averages upholds, Cunningham should cash on his points against Brooklyn.

NBA Prop Bets for Today, 3/7

Bam Adebayo Player Props: Over 10.5 Rebounds (-110 on BetMGM)

Bam Adeabyo has not been rebounding that well as of late. In fact, he has not covered this proposition in his last six games, but the Law of Averages states he will go over 10.5 rebounds tonight. It also helps that the Miami Heat are playing at the Dallas Mavericks, with a 7:30 PM ET tipoff.

These are two teams trending in opposite directions. The Heat are currently sixth in the Eastern Conference and have won eight of their last ten games. The Mavericks are eighth in the Western Conference, on a three-game losing streak, and lost five of their last ten games. The Mavericks allow the second most rebounds to opposing teams, and the tenth most to opposing centers. This creates a perfect scenario for Adebayo to get back to his average of 10.3 per game.

The Heat are only one game back from fourth in the Eastern Conference, and 4.5 away from third. If they continue this pace, they will be set up for home court advantage in at least the first round of the playoffs. If Adebayo has an excellent game on TNT tonight, the Heat could pull off an upset at the American Airlines Center.

Rudy Gobert Player Props: Under 15.5 Rebounds (-135 on BetMGM)

The Minnesota Timberwolves play the Indiana Pacers tonight. Rudy Gobert has been a man on fire lately, a rebounding machine. He has sixteen or more rebounds in five of his last six games played, which is truly remarkable. However, the Law of Averages states he has a good chance to go under tonight.

First, the Timberwolves will be without Karl-Anthony Towns for the remainder of the season as he tore his meniscus. This has caused Gobert’s line to go up, but it could force fellow teammate Jaden McDaniels into more minutes and more rebounds. It could also mentally affect their performances tonight.

In addition to that the Indiana Pacers allow only 51.6 rebounds per game and allow the third fewest rebounds to opposing centers. Gobert is a great center, but the Pacers also have two great rebounders in Myles Turner and Pascal Siakam. In addition to that Kyle Anderson is a savvy veteran capable of getting rebounds.

Naz Reid plays with maximum effort while on the floor, and he will be seeing more minutes. Those two teammates are well rested and are better than average rebounders. This leads one to believe the line is inflated, the numbers and odds indicate an under is the better bet, and the Law of Averages is on our side.

Nikola Jokic Player Props: To Record a Triple-Double (+150 on BetMGM)

The Denver Nuggets host the Boston Celtics on TNT in what many are calling an NBA Finals preview. The 10:00 PM ET tip off game will not disappoint, with the defending champions and the best team of this season competing on the hardwood.

Both of these teams lost in dramatic fashion in their last game, and both had opportunities to win late. Without question, this should be the game of the night. A plus odds prop on the leading MVP candidate, Nikola Jokic, to do what he has done the last four years– get a triple-double. He has not had a triple-double in three consecutive games but recorded the difficult stat in the prior four games.

The Law of Averages state he is due for another triple-double, especially after a tough loss. The Nuggets cannot let up as they are in third place of the Western Conference. They are only one game out of first place but only one and a half ahead of fourth place. They will need their leader to be at his best against a tough opponent who are upset with letting a win get out of their hands.

Jokic averages 25.9 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 9.1 assists per game. The Celtics are tough against centers in all three stats, but Jokic is not an average center. He was upset with his performance in the press conference, he recorded seven turnovers in that loss, and will respond with a great performance tonight. Bet the plus odds prop on the reigning Finals MVP.

DraftKings NBA Bet & Get Threesday: Bonus Bet for March 7 ($25 Minimum)

Celtics vs. Nuggets Prediction: Michael Porter Jr. to Make the First Three (+450 on DraftKings) *0.5 UNIT

This bet has been offered every Tuesday and Thursday on DraftKings for almost a month, and it is a nice promotional bet to take advantage of. DraftKings is being a bit sneaky as it is not on the opening screen.

Click the NBA tab and on top of the page is the OPT-IN option. You must click it before placing your bet. Once you click OPT-IN, you will be automatically sent to the first three made bet selections. Scroll to the BOS at DEN game and select Michael Porter Jr. Once the ‘slip’ is on your screen, select the BET & GET promotion. Place at least the $25 minimum for the bet to be activated and watch Michel Porter Jr. (hopefully) make the first three of the game.

If he does or does not, a bonus bet will be credited as $1.00 per three made in this game. The combined average of the Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets is just under twenty-eight, which would be more than the minimum required for this bet. The bonus bet from this promotion will be utilized tomorrow.
