  • Celtics at Magic (7:00 p.m. ET): Orlando (3-5) hosts Boston (4-5) in a battle of middling records. The Magic are 3.5-point favorites at home, but do they have the offense to play with Boston? More on this game below.
  • Raptors at Hawks (7:30 p.m. ET): Both teams sit at 4-4, but Toronto's on a three-game win streak. The Raptors are +2.5 underdogs on the road, with Scottie Barnes fueling their surge (averaging 22.1 points lately). Atlanta's home record has been poor for a few seasons. Pick: Raptors Moneyline (+108 on FanDuel).
  • Rockets at Spurs (7:30 p.m. ET): A Texas showdown pits two 5-2 squads against each other. Houston's favored by 3.5 after three straight road wins, but San Antonio's young core (led by Victor Wembanyama) thrives at home. The total's at 224.5, and both teams push the pace. NBA Best Bets Today, 11/7: Picks, Predictions & Player Props - Friday

Orlando Magic vs Boston Celtics Prediction: Friday 11/7

Game Time: 7:00 PM ET | TV: NBA League Pass | Location: TD Garden | Odds: ORL -3.5 | O/U 226.5

The Orlando Magic (3-5) welcome the Boston Celtics (4-5) to the Kia Center on Friday night. A thrilling NBA Cup match between teams going through opposite experiences. The Celtics climbed to the top of the mountain just two seasons ago, but their leader is out, and wins are difficult. The Magic lost their leader for most of last season and had plenty of other starters go down in the process. This year, they are healthy and have a great opportunity to represent the Eastern Conference in the Finals.

The Celtics are having difficulty maintaining offensive production, but that is expected with Jayson Tatum out. They are playing great defense. In fact, the Celtics allow the fewest points per game (109.3) in the Association. Orlando is not an offensive juggernaut, and the Celtics have several players who are good three-point scorers. Put a unit on the Celtics to cover the three-point spread in what should be a good defensive match.

Houston Rockets at San Antonio Spurs Prediction Friday 11/7

Game Time: 7:30 PM ET | TV: Prime | Location: Frost Bank Center | Odds: HOU -3.5 | O/U: 223.5

The San Antonio Spurs come back home after a two-game road trip to Phoenix and Los Angeles. The trip was not kind as they lost both games. They now return home for a divisional match against their rival, the Houston Rockets. The Rockets have the longest winning streak in the Association with five. They are gelling together and playing great offense, averaging 124.7 points per game.

The San Antonio Spurs are holding opponents to a low total. 109.6 is the second lowest in the Association. They also score 117.9 points per game, which is what they averaged on their road trip. But it was not enough to win. They must increase their offensive production against a great offensive team, and the belief is that they will do it at the Frost Bank Center.

Offense is the emphasis of the Western Conference, and the Spurs will be more productive on their home court. NBA Cup matches have produced some great performances from role players as well. This game is on Prime, and the expectation is for each team to score several points. Put a unit on this best bet today.

NBA Prop Bets Today, 11/7

The Spurs' two-game losing streak coincides with Wembanyama’s low rebounding production. He earned just 9 rebounds against the Phoenix Suns and 8 rebounds against the Los Angeles Lakers.

However, he has recorded 14 or more rebounds in every home game this season. His line has dipped to 10.5 with some juice. Instead of building a ladder, a two-unit wager is suggested on his low rebounding line. He’s averaging 12.9 rebounds per game this season, and his line will not be this low too many more times this season. Put two units on this player prop best bet.

Welcome back, Scottie Barnes! A frequently mentioned player from last year makes his first appearance of this season. This time it’s on his assists, which are set at 4.5. Barnes and the Raptors are on the road against their Eastern Conference opponent, the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks have historically played badly at home, and are 1-2 this season.

The Raptors are averaging 120.5 points per game, and Barnes is averaging 5.1 assists per game. He has recorded over 4.5 assists in his last three matches and in five games this season. The expectation is for Dyson Daniels to lock down Barnes, which will force him to pass more. Barnes has great court vision and is an unselfish player. Look for him to find the open player and earn at least five assists. Put a unit on this best bet today.
