The Phoenix Suns lived up to the hype, easily covering the -2.5 spread against the injured San Antonio Spurs. However, Luka Doncic went off with his best rebounding performance in two weeks. Thus crushing any hope of under 7.5 rebounds. For some reason… Deni Avdija played a season low 24 minutes yesterday. That ruined any hope for a successful under, as the Portland Trail Blazers didn’t even try in Oklahoma City yesterday.

Today, there are ten games, and the NBA enters its sixth calendar week. There were injuries to elite-tier players, which will impact teams (and bets). The week 6 injury report and waiver wire article can be found here.

Today’s best bets are focused on two nationally televised games and a player proposition with the statistics to back it up.

NBA Best Bets Today, 11/24: Picks, Predictions & Player Props - Monday

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Toronto Raptors: Monday 11/24

Game Time: 7:00 PM ET | TV: Peacock | Location: Scotiabank Arena | Odds: OKC -15.5 | O/U 233.5

The Toronto Raptors hosted the Brooklyn Nets last night, and they host the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. The fans of Scotiabank Arena will see a tougher opponent tonight, and their Raptors are on a seven-game win streak. Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram played 34 and 36 minutes, respectively. The Raptors had seven players with 20 or more minutes of court time against the Nets. It’s yet to be determined if players will rest or play.

Toronto is second in the Eastern Conference, and Cleveland is third. The Raptors are easily the most improved team from last season, and were it not the second of back-to-back games, they would be favored to win. Instead, Cleveland is a -2.5 point favorite, and that is the first best bet of today.

The Cavs are on a win streak of their own and are coming off a six-game homestand. They should be rested and ready for the road. Also, they have a healthier lineup; Jakob Poeltl is out for the Raptors, and it would not be surprising to see another player declared out this afternoon. Cleveland has a +4.8 point differential and needs to win by only three. Take advantage of the spread before it jumps up. Put a unit on this NBA best bet today.

Houston Rockets vs Phoenix Suns: Monday 11/24

Game Time: 9:30 PM ET | TV: Peacock | Location: Mortgage Matchup Center | Odds: HOU -6.5 | O/U: 224.5

The Phoenix Suns take center stage in Fantasy Alarm NBA Best Bets for the second consecutive day. They host another team from Texas, this time the Houston Rockets. There will be no Kevin Durant as he takes games off against his former teams (Golden State Warriors next) for personal reasons. However, Houston is still favored by -6.5 points.

Due to the Suns playing the second of back-to-back games, and Houston without Durant, it is wise to stay away from the spread, moneyline, and total. Instead, place a unit on the best bet of Dillon Brooks to record 2+ steals. Brooks is playing against his former team, his former coach, and revenge is something Brooks has been public about before.

Brooks is averaging 2.0 steals per game and has recorded at least one steal in every game he has participated in this season. He is a much-improved offensive player with the Suns, but still a great defender too. Defense requires great IQ, but the majority of it is effort and a desire to win. That is true for almost all sports, not just basketball.

Although his attitude has raised some eyebrows, his effort has never been questioned. There is no better setting to display it than against his former team on national television. Put a unit on the plus odds prop, and enjoy the late-night game on Peacock.

NBA Prop Bet Today, 11/24

That is not a typo, nor a mistake. You are reading it correctly. Tyler Herro is playing tonight, and he is mentioned in today’s best bets. He makes his return on the road at American Airlines Center against the Dallas Mavericks. The Miami Heat are rolling. Fourth in the Eastern Conference, and on a four-game win streak.

Although Herro is coming back, do not expect several minutes or many points. That is why under 16.5 points is the suggested best bet. Where did that number even come from? He’s averaged 20 or more points the past four seasons. However, Dallas has tightened up their defense. They are 1 - 3 in their last four games, and lost by a combined 12 points in those three games.

Herro is not expected to exceed 20 minutes today, and there are several scenarios in which he scores less than 16.5 points. As basketball fans, we are thankful to see Herro back, but Miami has been doing fine without him. Put a unit on under 16.5 points from him against Dallas today.
