Today’s MLB DFS coverage is for the 14-game main slate that starts at 7:05 pm ET on DraftKings FanDuel. Starting pitching is headlined by Hunter Brown, Zack Wheeler, and Corbin Burnes. We have one mlb weather concern today, so make sure to keep a close eye on the Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Chicago Cubs game leading up to first pitch. Henry is on the playbook today, make sure to give that a read, and don’t forget to check out the MLB Lineups page, Vegas Odds, and all of our MLB DFS Tools. Let’s dive into some of my favorite value options of the day and some we can fit into our cash and tournament lineups!

MLB DFS Value Pitcher

Joe Musgrove, San Diego Padres (DraftKings: $7,800 / FanDuel: $8,500)

Musgrove looks like he has found his form as he has scored at least 19.9 dk points in three straight outings and has given up just two runs over his last 17.1 innings pitched with 17 Ks in that span. The Cleveland Guardians offense has been lackluster all year long and I don’t see Musgrove having any issues with keeping his recent form and momentum going against them tonight.

MLB DFS Value Hitters

Kody Clemens, 1B, Philadelphia Phillies (DraftKings: $2,400 / FanDuel: $2,400)

Clemens hasn’t done much counting stats wise lately, but he is hitting .303 over his last 10 games. He has four home runs and 25 total R/RBI in 101 at-bats this year. Tonight, he faces Zach Davies, who pitched really well in his last start, but is still not a good pitcher. He has a 4.68 ERA and 1.44 WHIP on the season and the Phillies should be able to put some runs on the board against him.

Gunnar Henderson, 3B/SS, Baltimore Orioles (DraftKings: $3,600 / FanDuel: $3,000)

On Sunday I wrote “Henderson has scored 18, 21, and 17 dk points over his last three games with two home runs and two steals in that span. He is hitting .323 with a 1.009 OPS over his last 10 games and now has eight home runs and four steals on the year. He has hit .250 at home this year, compared to .198 on the road.” And he went out and scored 28 points with another home run. I like him again today against Chris Bassitt. Stay hot kid.

Ji Hwan Bae, 2B/OF, Pittsburgh Pirates (DraftKings: $3,000 / FanDuel: $2,800)

Bae has had a big season for fantasy points through his 19 stolen bases, but he has also hit a strong .270 with 49 total R/RBI through 59 games this season. He has been productive as of late too with four steals and 14 total R/RBI over his last 10 games. Tonight, he faces Jameson Taillon, who has been extremely bad this season with a 7.02 ERA and 1.54 WHIP. He’s been even worse at home too, with a 8.27 ERA and 1.78 WHIP.

Will Benson, OF, Cincinnati Reds (DraftKings: $2,600 / FanDuel: $2,100)

In yesterday’s Playbook I wrote “Benson is hot right now, hitting .310 with a home run and three steals over his last 10 games. He provides a ton of speed upside, but also can run into a long ball, which makes for a strong DFS option at this price point… He’s also been way better on the road with an .816 OPS across 12 games, compared to a .439 OPS at home” He had a decent little game, going 1-3 with a double and a walk, but I am going to go back to the well and hope for an even bigger day today.
