Isaac Paredes Sleeper Fantasy MLB Pick: More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (1.61x)

The Pirates are really struggling in the rotation once you get past Paul Skenes. Tonight, they’re throwing righthander Matt Burrows, who will be making only his third start of the season and has allowed eight earned runs over just 8.1 innings in his first two. He doesn’t strike guys out, and he pitches to way too much contact. The Astros haven’t exactly been lighting it up this season, but Paredes is posting a .371 wOBA against right-handers this season, and that comes with a near-12-percent walk rate and a .211 ISO. He went yard on Tuesday, so we’ll look for him to carry some momentum into tonight, especially when Burrows is allowing righthanded hitters to post a mammoth .502 wOBA against him this year and a .445 wOBA during his short work in the majors overall.

Freddie Freeman Sleeper Fantasy MLB Pick: More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (1.56x)

Like I said in the intro, we’re going to be targeting some punching bags, and if you’ve watched what Griffin Canning has done over his last few starts, you’ll see that he’s regressed to what is normal for him, career-wise, and we can successfully target him with Dodgers hitters. The easiest place to start is with Freeman, who owns a .489 wOBA against righthanded pitching this year, and that comes with a .461 BABIP and .291 ISO. Canning was already allowing lefty hitters to post a .332 wOBA against him, but even more glaring are the eight walks and six earned runs allowed over his last 5.2 innings (two starts).
