Welcome to the DFS MLB PLaybook for Monday, May 21!
We've got a real nice 9-game slate tonight with some real interesting options spread across the different pricing tiers. The pitching I like sits on the higher end of the cost spectrum, but considering I'm not interested in paying up for Walker Buehler (I need more than five innings, sorry) or Zack Greinke (rather save the extra few hundred), you should still have enough money left for some solid bats, even if you opt to stay in the higher range of pricing for both pitchers on Draft Kings.
As for the hitters, it looks like I may be paying down at shortstop and third base as they seem fairly deep to me today. I also really like some of the higher end first and second basemen as well as at least one of the high-priced outfielders. But what I love most is that we can probably build a solid lineup off just the Playbook today. We may not even need and real deep bargain bats if we structure everything properly. If I do, I'll obviously mention them in the write-up for the Optimal Lineups.
