2022 Player Outlook

It was another great year for Buehler as he finished fourth in the NL Cy Young voting in 2021. A 16-4 record with a 2.47 ERA, and 212 total strikeouts seems par for the course with him. He turns 28 in July and there’s no reason to believe he’ll be slowing down. With MLB managers seemingly trying to cut down on how long their pitchers appear in games, Buehler managed to go at least six innings in all but one of his 27 starts through August. He’s currently being drafted as the 13th player off the board and is worth the price tag if you’re targeting arms early. Given the offensive support he’ll get from the Dodgers lineup, Buehler could find himself in position to get close to 17-18 wins and sport another sub-3.00 ERA with the potential for 200 strikeouts.
