When I put together Sunday’s hitting coach, what struck me most was the lack of stud options at first base and shortstop. If you have some money to spend, you don’t need me to tell you it is fine to play Joey Votto or Jonathan Villar, but for the most part, I will plug in cheaper players at those positions and spend my money elsewhere. In fact, this is a pretty good slate for cheap options at every position, so if you were planning on paying for some of the stud pitchers, Sunday could be your lucky day.
