Dodgers vs. Reds Prediction: Thursday, September 17th

Its a series wrap game for the Dodgers against the Reds today and from the looks of the weather its going to be a hot one for September. Warm temperatures are great for offense and especially given the pitching today.

Brady Singer will start for the Reds today and he's been getting shelled of late. Dating back to the start of August he's made eight total starts encompassing 43 innings. During that time he has allowed 54 hits, 34 earned runs, nine homers and of course an OBA well over .300. He is especially weak against lefties allowing a .304 average and .883 OPS on the season against them. 

This is when we say hello to Freddie Freeman, who hasn't seen the ball super well of late but has an excellent track record against right handed pitching. He is hitting .314 with a .876 OPS on the season and this matchup against Singer seems like it could be a slump buster in the making. Let's go ahead and ride Freeman's hits/runs/RBIs line today!

In addition to the prop I like runs in general today as the Dodgers are going to use an opener and likely send out Justin Wrobleski after the fact. The lefy has also played poorly like Singer allowing 20 earned runs in his last 20.2 innings pitched. Both offenses also rank in the top 11 over the past couple of weeks in isolated power as well so over 9.5 runs is another play.
