MLB Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 6/23
Rangers vs. Orioles Predictions
It’s a lefty-on-lefty matchup here tonight as Patrick Corbin of the Rangers takes on Trevor Rogers of the Orioles! Corbin has had a great season by his standards, but the numbers are creeping up in ERA and WHIP, while Trevor Rogers has only made a pair of starts, so can we trust him? Let’s dive into this one.Â
While I would love to fade Patrick Corbin today, the Orioles' lineup is just soft against left-handed pitching and has been all season. Gunnar Henderson, Ryan Mountcastle, Ryan O’Hearn, Colton Cowser, and Ramon Laureano are all hitting well under .250 on the season against the southpaws, and the team has an ISO mark of 0.84, the lowest in the major leagues! Hard to see them being able to rough up Corbin even if he is falling apart slowly.Â
On the other end of things, Trevor Rogers is back and has looked pretty good, and lord knows the Orioles need decent pitching right now. Texas is also bad against lefties, with the team having a 25% K rate against them, which is the 7th most in MLB right now. The Rangers' offense has scored only 3.79 runs per game on the road this season as well, so lock in the under for me and give me Rogers to punch out 4.5 batters while he’s on the mound as well!
Pick: Rangers & Orioles Under 10 Runs (-125 on DraftKings)
Pick: Trevor Rogers (BAL) Over 4.5 Strikeouts (+115 on DraftKings)

Cubs vs. Cardinals Predictions
I know it's only June, but this is a big series in the NL Central as both the Cubs and Cardinals are vying to better position themselves for the divisional standings. Both offenses are cooking right now, so let’s dive into how that can make us some money tonight!
Starting with the Cubs, they have played 19 games in the month of June, and during that time, they have amassed 81 runs, which isn’t super high, but they are streaky, and they’ve been up the last week. The Cubs this month also rank 4th in ISO at .201, which means they are really smacking the ball for homers and extra base hits. Against Matthew Liberatore, who is starting for the Cardinals on the hill, they should get after him as he’s been lit up for 14 earned runs and 22 hits over his last 15 innings pitched. Cubs' lineup overall also hits lefties extremely well, including Kyle Tucker, who is hitting .400 over the past 5 games with an OPS of 1.328! Add a player prop for his stat to go over 1.5 hits/runs/RBIs.Â
On the other side of things, Ben Brown will start for the Cubs, and he’s been below average all season long. Through 74.1 innings of work this season, his ERA still remains over 5, and his WHIP of 1.48 isn’t getting better as the season has gone along. Like the Cubs' offense, the Cardinals are really getting after it in terms of run production, with 50 runs scored over the past 10 games.Â
These offenses are rolling as you can see, and the temperatures are rising for the long ball, give me the over in this one today to pair with the Tucker prop.Â
Pick: Kyle Tucker Over 1.5 Hits/Runs/RBIs (-140 on DraftKings)
Pick: Cubs & Cardinals Over 8.5 Runs (-120 on BetMGM)
