Mariners vs. Blue Jays Predictions

Well here we are, Game 7 of the American League Championship series. This series has lived up to the billing and them some as we have seen 47 total runs through 6 games, and I don’t see why the offenses don’t continue tonight!

 On both sides there are so many big bats and the pitchers haven’t been all that good in the series and the guys going tonight in George Kirby and Shane Bieber could get the hook early on. This postseason Kirby has an ERA of 7.07 with most of the damage coming against the Blue Jays 5 days ago as he gave up 3 homers and 8 earned runs. The Blue Jays study up well it seems and they don’t strikeout much so Kirby could be in some trouble here. Under 3.5 strikeouts would be the prop I would recommend as if there’s any danger early on its win or go home so 3-4 innings max is what I would expect and that’s not enough time to go over 3.5 strikeouts. 

On the overall game side I like the over on the total as well. The Mariners hold an isolated power mark of .175 these playoffs and the likes of Cal Raleigh, Julio Rodriguz and Jorge Polanco are all sporting OPS marks over .700 for the postseason. On the Blue Jays side they have the highest isolated power mark of any team in the playoffs at .238 and a BABIP of .304. Vladimir Guerrero is also on fire so 7.5 runs is in danger from the rip and I will take that over bet.
