Best MLB Strikeout Props Today

Eury Perez Over 6.5 Strikeouts (+100)

Perez is coming off maybe the signature start of his career, seven perfect innings against Oakland, eight strikeouts, and 92 pitches before his manager pulled him with the perfect game and no-hitter still intact. That is a pitcher operating at peak stuff right now, a fastball that touches 98 and 99 with a changeup that has hitters completely lost.

Perez will get Cleveland at home tonight, and the Guardians have been striking out at a stiff 26.0 percent clip over their last 14 games. A dominant arm riding the best start of his life against a lineup trending the wrong way on strikeouts is exactly the spot to target. Take it.

Cristopher Sanchez Over 6.5 Strikeouts (-120)

Sanchez is second in the majors in pitching fWAR and was in the Cy Young conversation before his last start, a genuine outlier disaster in Kansas City where he gave up nine runs on 12 hits and struck out only one. He said it himself afterward, he felt great, and the underlying stuff simply did not miss bats that day.

Sanchez makes his last start tonight before the All-Star break on the road at Detroit, and the Tigers strike out at a healthy 22.8 percent clip against lefties. One rough start does not erase a 10.3 K/9 season. Lock it in.

Joe Ryan Over 7.5 Strikeouts (-105)

Ryan has quietly been one of the best pitchers in baseball, a corrected 2.85 ERA after a scoring change and 122 strikeouts in 104.1 innings. His last start was elite, seven shutout innings, three hits, nine strikeouts in a win over the Yankees.

This evening, he gets the Angels at home, and Los Angeles chases strikeouts against right-handed pitching at a 24.8 percent rate, the best matchup number on the entire board. Get it in.

Tanner Bibee Under 4.5 Strikeouts (+100)

Bibee has had a brutal season, sitting at 2-9 with a 4.06 ERA and one of the lowest strikeout rates among today's starters at 19.5 percent. He simply has not had the swing-and-miss stuff to miss bats consistently in 2026.

Tonight, he travels to Miami, and the Marlins have actually tightened up at the plate recently, striking out at just 16.5 percent over their last 14 games, one of the lowest marks in the league. A modest strikeout arm facing a red-hot, contact-oriented Miami lineup is not a spot to expect a big number. Take the under.

Pitcher Strikeout Projections vs Betting Lines

Every strikeout prop on the board gets measured against season-long performance, recent form, and opponent tendencies before it ever makes this column. Betting lines move for a reason, and our job is to find where the market has not fully priced in a matchup edge. That is the foundation of every pick you see above.

Strikeout Props to Avoid Today

Freddy Peralta vs. Red Sox

Peralta has 98 strikeouts in 100.2 innings this season, and on paper an 8.8 K/9 against a Boston lineup that has been chasing strikeouts more over its last two weeks looks appealing. But his season has been wildly inconsistent, from carrying a no-hit bid into the eighth against the Yankees with nine strikeouts to short, choppy outings like his last one, just 4.2 innings against Atlanta.

Over his last 10 starts, he has actually gone under this kind of number seven times, yet the market still has the over priced at -130. That is a disconnect between recent form and the price. When a volatile arm coming off a short start is priced like a lock to clear the number, the value has already been squeezed out. Leave it alone.
