2023 Player Outlook

2023 Recap: The big question in Cleveland this season: will Tanner Bibee be immune to the dreaded sophomore slump? Bibee, who was in the running for American League Rookie of the Year before missing his last few starts due to right hip inflammation, ended his first season with 10-4 record and a 2.98 ERA/1.18 WHIP in 25 starts with 141 strikeouts in 142 innings. He did finish as the AL ROY runner-up as his four-seam fastball was elite reaching a run value of 10 by the end of the season. 

2024 Outlook: With a 2.63 ERA in his 12 starts after the All-Star break, Bibee appears ready for Year 2 of his MLB career and on a club with some uncertainty in its rotation he appears to be one of the main arms leading the club's pitching staff for the next few years.
