- Eury Perez, Miami Marlins – 18 SB allowed

Catchers Allowing the Most Stolen Bases
The final piece of the puzzle for finding the best stolen base predictions involves looking behind the dish at catcher pop times and throwing accuracy. How many times teams attempt to steal a base on a particular catcher is a strong indicator of who we expect to see doing the most running today. The following backstops have the lowest Caught Stealing% with a minimum of 10 SB attempts against them.
- Mickey Gasper, Boston Red Sox – 0% CS (12 att.)
- Ivan Herrera, St. Louis Cardinals – 0% CS (17 att.)

Best MLB Stolen Base Picks Today:
Locking in the best stolen base predictions means finding the absolute perfect storm of a high-on-base runner and a weak battery. Here are our top two MLB stolen base picks today for Tuesday, June 30:
Favorite Bets:
Jake McCarthy, Colorado Rockies (+161)
We were just talking about low-hanging fruit the other day and it doesn’t hang much lower than this. McCarthy may not have cashed with us yesterday, but he did on Saturday and it wasn’t like yesterday was some 0-for-4 misery. He had two hits in the game. But this is Eury Perez on the mound and even with a stint on the IL, the 18 stolen bases is the most allowed by any starter in MLB. Even if we see Joe Mack and his 30-percent caught-stealing rate behind the dish, we’ll make this bet, but of course, we’ll hope to see Brian Navaretto who’s numbers are significantly worse. Also, shop around on the prop. Pretty sure I saw it for better odds over on BetMGM. Check the Bet Tracker.
Bobby Witt, Kansas City Royals (+261)
After seeing Witt play the field over the weekend, I feel much more comfortable looking at him for a stolen base today and have less concern that the knee-sprain he suffered is going to affect hm this week. Especially after getting a full day off on Monday. Witt has everything we want from a great jump to an elite-level sprint-speed and an 87.5-percent success rate on the bases. He’s posting a .340 wOBA and 10.4-percent walk rate against righties and is facing Griffin Jax who has allowed nine stolen bases this season. The Rays catchers have combined for just a 23.4-percent caught-stealing rate so look for Witt to take off early and get the Royals back on-track.
