Welcome back to the best stolen base picks for today. We had a nice run going into the weekend last week and cashed picks for four-straight days, but unfortunately, the streak came to an end with yesterday’s picks. Neither Elly De La Cruz nor Jazz Chisholm stole a base, despite being in good situations to do so. Looks like we’ll just have to start another run today.

Best MLB Stolen Base Picks Today:

Locking in the best stolen base predictions means finding the absolute perfect storm of a high-on-base runner and a weak battery. Here are our top two MLB stolen base picks today for Monday, June 29:

Favorite Bets:

Konnor Griffin, Pittsburgh Pirates (+266) – It’s the infamous P00P series once again, and if you don’t know what I’m talking about, then just look at the score bug for the game when it starts. As for stolen bases today, we’re going to lean on the rookie returning to form against an aging righty in Aaron Nola. The veteran has tossed a few decent outings lately, but he’s not going deep into games, and the Phillies' bullpen is taxed (30 IP over the last seven days). Griffin is hitting righties fairly well, posting a .322 wOBA against them this season, and he’s got 11 stolen bases on the season, despite an injury that held him out for some time. Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto has a 27-percent caught-stealing rate, so it’s not a cakewalk, but I’m putting a little something on the rookie.

Jake McCarthy, Colorado Rockies (+269) – We actually cashed with McCarthy on Saturday during a late-game double-steal, so we’re going back to the well. Marlins right Sandy Alcantara has looked strong over his last five starts, but he has allowed 12 stolen bases, and the Marlins catchers have combined for just a 21.1-percent caught stealing rate. McCarthy is posting a .353 wOBA against righties this season, with 10 of his 13 steals coming against them as well. The Marlins are an aggressive team on the bases, so their opponents like to follow suit.
