But while I think the world of Shane McClanahan, he’s allowed the second-most stolen bases on today’s slate, and we know the Rays catchers have combined for just a 23.4-percent caught-stealing rate. Let’s get in while we can. 

JJ Wetherholt, St. Louis Cardinals (+453) – We’re going to go with a little bit of a longshot play here, but one I’m pretty confident in based on all the data and what I know about Braves righty Reynaldo Lopez. Now, keep in mind, this guy has spent time in the bullpen and on the IL, so the fact that he’s coughed up nine stolen bases, fourth-most on the slate, says something. But we can also combine that with the fact that Braves catcher Drake Baldwin has just a five-percent caught-stealing rate on 20 attempts. Wetherholt has a .355 wOBA against righties this season and a syb-17-percent K-rate. With a strong sprint speed and a 100-percent success rate on the bases, we’re going to invest.
