Fernando Tatis, San Diego Padres (+320)

I thought about Bobby Witt for the third day in a row, and while I will bet it myself, for the article here, I will roll with Tatis, who has hit safely in seven of his last eight games with three stolen bases in that span. He’s facing righty Tanner Gordon, who will have Hunter Goodman and his 16-percent caught-stealing rate behind the dish. Tatis has a .332 wOBA with 31 steals against righties, so let’s get our money in on him today.

Kevin McGonigle, Detroit Tigers (+740)

Let’s have a little more fun today and go after a long-shot. White Sox righty Erick Fedde is on the bump for the bulk work today, and we’re expecting Jake Rogers and his 21-percent caught-stealing rate to be behind the plate. The lefty-swinging McGonigle has a .381 wOBA with a .400 OBP against righties, and Fedde is allowing left-handed hitting to post a .324 OBP against him. With the heater we’re on, we can afford to take some chances.
