To lead things off, we’re not going to make you wait at all with one of the earlier afternoon games of Guardians vs. Royals. It’s no surprise that we’re eyeing a Royals hitter when we tell you that Cleveland starter Slade Cecconi has allowed multiple homers in THREE starts this season! He’s perfect to pick on with our MLB home run picks.

He’s been shelled for 10 hits in two of his last three starts, so it’s safe to say that he allows plenty of contact as well. Given his form this season and being a lefty, our target won’t surprise you, but we’re still getting some incredible odds for what we think it should be; Jensen’s hit 100% of his homers vs. righties this season.

Elly De La Cruz (+525)

We haven’t targeted the Chicago Cubs recently due to the winds not being in our favor. Well, that changes at Wrigley Field today, and in fact, one of our past targets (Spencer Steer) went yard last night. So, we’re going to stick with the Cincinnati Reds side of this series with our top MLB home run picks today.

Chicago starter Shota Imanaga is certainly not the juicy target that the aforementioned Cecconi is, but the lefty still presents a strong matchup for another HR guy we’ve cashed with before. Elly has far more power than his frame may suggest, having hit 10 homers this season, five of which have come against southpaws.

Even the Cubs bullpen has allowed 18 dingers this year, so we’ll add to our best MLB home run picks for today with Elly De La Cruz to hit a HR (+525 at bet365).

Byron Buxton (+320)

Ok, this one is going to be our “boring” pick of the day. After all, Aaron Judge cashed for us last night, and we get to enjoy another huge slugger going against Jake Irvin. We don’t trust the Washington National starter in the slightest, and with the game in the nation’s capital, that also bodes well for cashing MLB home run picks.

This one could be a leadoff homer as well, but even if it’s not, the Nats bullpen has been horrendous, allowing 25 long balls this year! That’s the second-most in all of baseball, and even without that factor, Buxton having 11 on the season only supports the fact that he’s matchup-proof.
