It feels like it’s been a little while since we got to target the Great American Ball Park, but our targets begin in Cincinnati. That means the Diamondbacks vs. Reds series, and tonight, it features a battle of lefties on the mound. We’re going to be targeting Cinci’s Nick Lodolo, his curveball and his struggles overall for our MLB home run picks.

Corbin Carroll has cashed a HR for us recently, has homered since then, AND is known as an amazing lefty vs. lefty hitter. That said, we’re actually rolling with the leadoff man in front of him. Ketel Marte has been one of the best hitters in general this season, and what we love is that he’s .364 vs. lefty sinkers this season and was .417 vs. lefty curveballs last season.

We don’t love that they haven’t seen many lefty curves this season, but it’s not enough to keep the switch hitter out of our best MLB home run picks for today - we’re on Ketel Marte hitting a HR (+285 at bet365).

Jake Bauers (+453)

Before we continue, we know how tempting it is to just go with guys in Las Vegas. If you aren’t worried about value - do it. However, we have FOUR guys in the +100’s and not a single guy with longshot odds (no one is above around +650). Ok, with that out of the way, we’re continuing our MLB home run picks in Philly.

Rookie Andrew Painter is a guy that we’ve picked on quite a bit en route to his 1-7 record, and we’re getting amazing value with the odds for Milwaukee guys tonight. This may be our closest pick-your-poison situation of the season thus far in terms of Jake Bauers or Brice Turang. They’re both lefties that match up very well vs. Painter, and if you can make just two HR picks today and take Bauers & Turang, as long as one of them goes yard, you come out profitable.

Dillon Dingler (+575)

That includes Dillon Dingler, who is a righty that can absolutely smash righties like Tanner Bibee, hence why he’s part of our MLB home run picks.

We’re getting extremely valuable odds yet again rather than just picking the easy targets for you, even though he arguably should be. He’s got 16 homers this season, yet there are SIX guys with shorter odds in Tigers vs. Guardians to go yard! That simply isn’t right, and Dingler’s also been great at hitting cutters this season (.400), which Bibee loves to throw.

He’s had seven homers vs. righties in just the past month, and with the humidity in Cleveland, we’re adding to our best MLB home run picks for today with Dillon Dingler to hit a HR (+575 at FanDuel).

We’re going to stay in Cleveland, with the other starter in this matchup being Jack Flaherty. He is arguably the starter due for the most regression strikeout-wise, but given Cleveland’s lineup, we’re getting longshot odds for a few guys. Steven Kwan is the MONSTER payout, but we still love four-figure odds for the switch hitter.
