Jackson Chourio (+303)

With the A’s back at home, you already knew that there was no way we could avoid the home stadium of the Triple-A Sacramento River Cats. Even Cody Bellinger playing in Yankee Stadium with double-digit winds blowing out doesn’t compare to this location. This is like heaven for MLB home run picks for the Milwaukee Brewers after their series at Coors Field this weekend.

It was only Gary Sanchez who went yard for them yesterday, and against lefty Jeffrey Springs today, he’s got another great matchup to do so again. However, Chourio is one of the few guys hitting better against southpaws this year to the tune of .345 with a .904 OPS. A lefty vs. lefty matchup would be even better, but we’re still starting our best MLB home run picks for today with Jackson Chourio to hit a HR (+303 at Novig).

Mike Trout (+331)

We’re going to stay out west with our top targets and today’s chalk pick. Actually, with the odds still a full 100 longer than Yordan Alvarez today, it’s really not even that much of one. Whether it’s because the oddsmakers are still believing in Houston Astros starter Spencer Arrighetti or something else, Trout is still part of our MLB home run picks.

We saw his teammates - Zach Neto and Jo Adell - both go deep yesterday en route to their 13-5 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. That’s a big, dramatic offensive upswing for the Angels, so while we don’t expect that, we do still see a Trout dinger. Arrighetti’s curveball does make things slightly annoying, but not enough to keep the addition to our best MLB home run picks for today with Mike Trout to hit a HR (+331 at DraftKings).

Luke Raley (+450)

Ok, you know that we like to transition from top targets to the longshot with a bit of a value play, and in two of the past three days, this is the one that has cashed - Alec Burleson and Cody Bellinger. Today, it’s a lefty at Camden Yards going against Chris Bassitt, which is the reason it’s the value play of our top MLB home run picks.

We have to admit that Bassitt doesn’t allow the highest exit velocities on a consistent basis. That said, he has allowed a homer in three of his last four starts. Most importantly, he lasted just three innings in his last outing, and the O’s bullpen is nothing to be concerned about. Furthermore, ALL 13 of Raley’s homers this year have come against right-handed pitching.

Along with lefties having a .537 slugging against Bassitt this year, we love the value of adding Luke Raley to hit a HR (+450 at BetMGM) to our best MLB home run picks for today.

Monday's evening card has at least one longshot price worth targeting before the lights go out in the late window. Here is where our MLB home run picks are pointing for the big-price target today:

Somehow, we have yet to mention Grayson Rodriguez today. You saw that Trout at Angel Stadium is a target, and we’ve got another one at that same location, but on the Houston side of the matchup.
