Monday had a fast slate with two, 2-0 series being played. Both Invictus Gaming and Edward Gaming both looked elite in their dispatching of FunPlus Phoenix and Weibo Gaming. Tuesday has less splashy matchups but should have a similar level of one-sidedness to the outcomes. There are heavy favorites in both series with JD Gaming and Top Esports taking on bottom-of-the-table squads LGD Gaming and Team WE. The key to slates like this is to target the most significant gaps in individual matchups to hopefully target big performers. Let’s dive in!

League of Legends Fantasy Value Breakdown
Series #1: LGD Gaming v JD Gaming
Game Breakdown: The only lane to watch in this series has to be the bottom lane. Eric is the LGD main damage dealer and we have seen them struggle to win games when he is neutralized in a matchup. He has to face, in my opinion, the best individual ADC in the LPL in Hope on Tuesday. Hope has shown the ability to push the limits of his role and allow his team more freedom in teamfights. This is because they don’t need to spend resources to help him put out damage but instead can focus on maximizing their own damage. Kanavi (JDG jungler) should have a pretty large skill gap over LGD’s Kui. This is one of my biggest factors that led me to the 2-0 series result I landed on. Experience in the jungle role is significantly more important that mechanical skill and Kanavi is one of the most refined junglers in the LPL.
Favorite Picks: Hope (JD: $11,700/$7,800), Kanavi (JD: $7,200), Missing (JD: $5,800), JD Gaming ($5,000)
Value Picks: YeG (LGD: $6,600), fearness (LGD: $5,800)
Cann’s Match Pick: JD Gaming (2-0)
Series #2: Top Esports v Team WE
Game Breakdown: While Top Esports lost their series to JDG in their opening match 1-2, it is important to note that even their single win was riddled with mistakes. The biggest flaw for this team is the mental mistakes and how those mistakes snowball into more ill-advised decisions later in games/series. The technical skill of players like JackeyLove (ADC), Knight (Mid), and Wayward (Top) tend to be good enough to win games quickly. They will out-micro the opposing players if the skill gap is there but you can find this team frustrated when they play smarter teams. Luckily for them, Team WE is not one of those teams. Their mid-laner (xiye) is respectable and normally can stay relevant in a game, despite his teammates losing their matchups pretty hard. I think Knight may be worth the fade just for that reason but other TES players should be fairly safe locks to pick up decent points for Tuesday.
Favorite Picks: JackeyLove (TES: $11,400/$7,600), Tian (TES: $7,000), Wayward (TES: $6,200)
Value Picks: xiye (TWE: $6,800), beishang (TWE: $6,400)
Cann’s Match Pick: Top Esports (2-1)
