Statistics are always important in analyzing players. There are always stats to support a player you're high on for the season and others to support a player you're not investing in. Here are some interesting stats for wide receivers from last season.

Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas had 10 games of at least 100 receiving yards last season. He led the NFL with 185 targets, 28 more than the next receiver. Thomas had a target rate of 31.9 percent. Thomas had 149 receptions to set the single-season record, breaking the previous mark of 143 set by Marvin Harrison. Thomas averaged 9.31 receptions per game. The next highest was DeAndre Hopkins with 6.93. Thomas averaged 107.81 yards per game. Chris Godwin was second with 95.21.

Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson was third in the NFL in targets in 2019 with 154. He had 98 catches for 1,147 yards and seven touchdowns. Robinson averaged 9.63 targets per game.

Packers wide receiver Davante Adams missed four games due to turf toe and didn't reach double-digit touchdowns for the first time in four seasons. He was second in the NFL with 10.58 targets per game. In the final five games, including two playoff games, Adams had 103, 116, 96, 160 and 138 yards. He had double-digit targets in 10 of his 11 games, including the playoffs. Adams was fifth in the NFL with 83.08 yards per game for wide receivers.

When Lions wide receivers Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones were together on the field with Matthew Stafford , the gap between them was much closer than most think. Golladay had 62 targets, while Jones had 57. Golladay had 35 catches for 640 yards with seven touchdowns and Jones had 42 catches for 535 yards and six touchdowns. Jones had eight touchdowns in the red zone on only 14 red-zone targets.

Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder was extremely dependent on Sam Darnold . In three games without Darnold, Crowder eight catches for 75 yards on 15 targets. In the 13 games with Darnold, Crowder caught 70 of 107 targets for 758 yards and six touchdowns.

Kenny Golladay and Cooper Kupp were the only wide receivers to score double-digit touchdowns last season.

In the final seven games, Rams wide receiver Robert Woods had a 26-percent target share and averaged 11.2 targets per game. In the final eight games of the season, teammate Cooper Kupp had 65 yards receiving or fewer in seven games.

Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones has scored double-digit touchdowns in only one season in his career, back in 2012 when he scored 10. He averaged 8.9 yards per target, the lowest mark in his career. Jones has missed one game in the last three seasons.

Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup averaged 79.07 yards per game, which was sixth in the NFL, while teammate Amari Cooper averaged 74.31 yards per game. Over the last seven games when Cooper battled injuries, he had 26 catches for 341 yards with one touchdown. Gallup dropped 13 passes.

Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker scored nine touchdowns in 2019. He had nine combined in his first four seasons. In eight games with Preston Williams, Parker had 28 receptions for 400 yards with four touchdowns on 52 targets. Without Williams, who had a 53.3 percent catch rate, in eight games, Parker had 44 receptions for 802 yards and five touchdowns.

Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore was Top 10 in targets, receiving yards and yards after the catch and that was playing most of the season with backup Kyle Allen .

Texans wide receiver Will Fuller missed five games last season and has missed 22 games in his four-year career.

Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman averaged 20.7 yards per reception and 13.1 yards per target.

Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams reached 1,001 yards receiving on only 49 receptions. He averaged 20.4 yards per catch.

Three players had receptions of at least 90 yards last season. They were Olamide Zaccheaus (93 yards), Robby Anderson (92) and A.J. Brown (91).

Only four player reached 100 receptions. They were Michael Thomas (149), DeAndre Hopkins (104), Keenan Allen (104), and Julian Edelman (100).

Before Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley was injured and missed three games, he was Top 15 among wide receivers in fantasy points per game.

Bills wide receiver John Brown had at least nine points in PPR formats in 13 of 15 games.

49ers Deebo Samuel rushed for 159 yards.

The Titans' A.J. Brown averaged 20.2 yards per reception.

In his final seven games, the Giants' Darius Slayton had 31 catches for 467 yards with five touchdowns.

The Cardinals' Larry Fitzgerald had 109 targets and didn't drop a pass.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling had a 46.4 percent catch rate for the Packers.

Over the final seven games, Anthony Miller averaged 7.9 targets per game for the Bears.

The Jets' Breshad Perriman averaged five catches for 104.8 yards in the final four games for the Buccaneers last season.
