Since it’s the first week of the season I’m not going to highlight just the articles of the week, I’m also going to share with you a few of the main pieces of what we have to offer that you should bookmark and use on a daily basis. Here we go.

SPOTS TO BOOKMARK

Who is in the lineup each day? Our Lineups page answers that question for you. More than just telling you who is in or out of the lineup, the page has other valuable tidbits to offer such as the weather that day (temp, wind and chance of rain), batter versus pitcher stats and the cost of the players at three major DFS sites (Fanduel, Draftkings and Fantasy Aces).

There’s a continually updated Closer Grid run by Howard Bender. Who is next in line that you should be thinking about adding in that tumultuous 9th inning if you’re looking for a boost?

Want to see my face and maybe even that of Jeff Mans? If you do then you can click on this link to our Video page. We sometimes say some smart things. Sometimes.

There’s a depth chart page so you can see how each team, in each division, is planning on divvying out playing time.

Don’t forget to check out our Player News page either. An injury happens and we report on it as fast as anyone in the industry. A guy has a great effort, we’re on it with an update. A player is called up, we report it. You know the deal.

FANTASY ALARM STAFF ARTICLES

Howard Bender gives his take on Trevor Story in Kicking Rocks. You can find my thoughts on Story below.

Colby Conway takes a look at some players that might help you in this category or that in his Category Impact piece.

Jonathan Impemba touched on the players you could add off waivers in MLB Waiver Flavor.

David Kerr breaks down Trea Turner, a shortstop we could see play a significant role in fantasy baseball this season.

Joe Pisapia is new to the staff and he explains his RPV system in this piece.

Michael Stein takes a look around the league detailing the significant health issues of some of the bigger names in the game.

Rick Wolf was thinking about how you could get your rookie fix by discussing an opportunity to play in a Minor League Fantasy Baseball game.

RAY FLOWERS ARTICLES

Just because a guy had a terrible first start doesn’t mean he needs to be immediately dropped or that his season is over.

Sometimes I get frustrated, you probably all know that by now. One of the reasons that occurs is because I feel like I don’t know enough about the situations you’re dealing with. I explain how to rectify that.

Yasiel Puig is as good as Bryce Harper. Seriously. The numbers prove it.

A Trevor Story update. I keep trying, but are you listening?

Chris Owings is a very moderate offensive performer. Read his Player Profile to find out why.

Michael Saunders is hurt yet again. Shocker. Here’s his Player Profile.

Everyone is excited about the potential of Tyler White. What do I think? See his Player Profile.

Are you swayed by the allure of Francisco Liriano and the heat? Check out why you should pump the breaks in his Player Profile.

It’s not exactly a Player Profile, but I did file a report on Travis Shaw and his outlook with the Red Sox.
