2025 Season Recap
Colston Loveland had an excellent rookie season in Chicago, catching 58 passes for 713 yards and six touchdowns across 16 games while posting a 12.3 yards-per-reception average that ranked among the best at the position. He averaged 8.5 fantasy points per game and showed the route-running polish and after-the-catch ability that made him a first-round pick out of Michigan. He developed real chemistry with Caleb Williams as the season progressed.
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Loveland is the consensus TE3 entering his second NFL season, and the developmental trajectory here is exciting. Caleb Williams enters Year 3 expected to take a real step forward, and tight ends who break out in Year 2 alongside an ascending young quarterback have produced some of the better fantasy seasons at the position in recent memory. His 12.3 yards per reception shows he is not just a check-down option but a legitimate vertical and intermediate threat. He is a borderline top-five tight end target and one of the more exciting breakout candidates in this year's draft pool.
