2023 Player Outlook
Rookie tight end Luke Schoonmaker was selected by the Cowboys in the second round of the 2023 NFL draft with pick 58. The Michigan offense he played in college ran a lot of play-action and RPOs which created space for Schoonmaker but did not offer many chances for us to see what he can do in man-to-man or with contested catches. He also only broke two tackles in his entire college career. But he'll have the chance to compete for that starting job in Dallas and we all saw how much Dak Prescott liked Dalton Schultz.
