2022 Player Outlook
There have been some rumors from beat writers that Chris Evans could be set to take over third down work from Samaje Perine this season. Of course, we can't read too much into the offseason chatter, but it may be worth keeping an eye on considering that Perine is getting older in running back years. In his rookie season, Evans only had 17 rush attempts, but he also had 15 receptions for 151 yards and two touchdowns. If the depth charts shake out with Evans over Perine, he's worth a look.
