Trevor Lawrence had the best season of his NFL career in 2025, throwing for over 4,000 yards and 29 touchdowns, while adding nine more on the ground. He rattled off seven straight top-10 fantasy weeks to close the regular season under Liam Coen and led Jacksonville to the AFC South title. It was exactly the kind of breakout campaign that made him the first overall pick back in 2021.
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Lawrence is the consensus QB10, which tells you the market is already pricing in some regression, and honestly, that is fair. Nine rushing touchdowns in a season is a number that is really hard to repeat for a quarterback who is not a true scrambler. Strip those out and his passing-only production last season puts him outside the top-12 conversation entirely. The bull case is that Coen's system specifically designs quarterback run opportunities, and if even half of those rushing scores come back, Lawrence profiles as a legitimate QB1. If they do not, you are paying a QB1 price for a QB2 or lower output. Brian Thomas Jr., Jakobi Meyers, and Parker Washington give him a functional receiving group capable of sustaining volume, but none of them move the needle the way a true WR1 would. He is a calculated gamble at consensus QB10, and the floor without the rushing touchdowns is lower than his ranking implies.
