2026 Fantasy Football Player Profile

2025 Season Recap

Travis Etienne had the most consistent fantasy season of his career in 2025, posting 260 carries for 1,107 yards and seven touchdowns while adding 36 catches for 292 yards and six receiving scores. He was one of the most complete backs in the NFC, doing damage both as a rusher and a receiver in Jacksonville's run-heavy scheme under Liam Coen. He rewarded the managers who stuck with him through his injury history with his most dependable year to date.

2026 Fantasy Outlook

New Orleans is an interesting landing spot and Etienne enters 2026 as the consensus RB15. He is a complete back who brings receiving ability that Tyler Shough should be able to lean on as a safety valve in his first full season as the starter. The Saints have invested in their offense and the trajectory is improving. The risk is that New Orleans is still a team with open questions at multiple positions, and the full-season production depends on how quickly that offense develops. He is a third-round pick with genuine RB1 ceiling if the Saints get cooking.
