2023 Player Outlook
Javonte Williams had a promising start to the 2022 season despite the Broncos' offensive woes, but a catastrophic knee injury derailed his momentum in Week 4. Initial reports were that he not only tore his ACL but that his LCL and PCL were also affected, leaving him with a much more complicated timeline for return. We've seen in past seasons that when a running back tries to rush back from a complicated injury, it can exponentially elevate the risk of reinjury or, at the very least, lead to drastically reduced productivity. Even if Williams is ready to go at the beginning of the season, don't expect his workload to be anywhere near it needs to be for fantasy production.
