2022 Player Outlook
Even with inconsistent quarterback play in 2021, Michael Pittman managed to have a breakout year. He finished as WR17 with over 1,000 yards and six receiving touchdowns even though he ranked 71st in average target distance and 58th in yards per reception. In 2022, Pittman gets an upgrade at quarterback in Matt Ryan who ranked 3rd in deep ball completion percentage, so if the downfield targets increase, he is set up to have a monster season. He should be a high-end WR2 or even crack WR1 territory this year.
