2026 Fantasy Football Player Profile

2025 Season Recap

Juwan Johnson had a productive 2025 season for New Orleans, catching 77 passes for 889 yards and three touchdowns across all 17 games, finishing with 141.4 total fantasy points, a strong mark for a tight end without standout touchdown production. He developed solid chemistry with Tyler Shough in the second half of the season as the rookie took over the starting job.

2026 Fantasy Outlook

Johnson is consensus TE17, and the volume he showed in 2025 is the real story given a relatively middling touchdown total. Shough enters his first full season as the starter with first-round rookie Jordyn Tyson now added to the receiving corps, which could either create more space for Johnson underneath or compress his target share depending on how the offense develops. His receiving floor is solid even if the touchdown upside is capped. A reasonable streaming option with PPR appeal in deeper leagues.
