Brandon Aiyuk did not play a single snap in 2025. Following a severe multi-ligament knee injury suffered in October 2024, he went AWOL from the team's rehabilitation program. San Francisco subsequently voided $27 million in guarantees and placed him on the reserve/left squad list.
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Aiyuk remains on San Francisco's reserve/left squad list, rendering him entirely ineligible to play for the 49ers or any other club unless he files for reinstatement—something he has publicly stated he will not do. The team has completely moved on by bringing back Deebo Samuel. He is completely undraftable in standard redraft leagues and represents only a speculative dynasty gamble.
