Hockenson had a limited 2025 season, appearing in just 15 games and catching 51 passes for 438 yards and three touchdowns amid a Minnesota passing attack that struggled with historically poor quarterback play behind J.J. McCarthy. He averaged 5.8 fantasy points per game, a modest mark well below his prior peak production with the Vikings.
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Hockenson is consensus TE22, and the quarterback change in Minnesota is the most important storyline for his 2026 outlook. Kyler Murray arrives to start, and while Justin Jefferson is the clear top beneficiary of better quarterback play, Hockenson should also see his efficiency improve simply by virtue of better decision-making and ball placement. He has TE1 pedigree from his time in Detroit and a healthy bounce-back season is plausible if Murray's arrival lifts the entire passing offense. A solid value pick in the thirteenth round.
