2026 Fantasy Football Player Profile

2025 Season Recap

Baker Mayfield had a down 2025 after an excellent 2024 campaign, finishing as the QB12 in fantasy with 3,693 passing yards, 26 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He played through biceps, shoulder, knee, and oblique injuries that clearly sapped his production down the stretch. In 2024, he threw for 4,500 yards and 41 touchdowns, averaged 21.5 fantasy points per game, finished as the QB4 in fantasy, and earned a Pro Bowl berth.

2026 Fantasy Outlook

Mayfield is the consensus QB19 and the mean reversion case here deserves some nuance. His 2024 season was outstanding, but that 7.2% touchdown rate was well above his career average of around 5%, so some pullback was always coming regardless of injuries. The 2025 drop to QB12 was a combination of both natural regression and genuine injury problems. With Evans gone to San Francisco, second-year receiver Emeka Egbuka steps into the WR1 role and new offensive coordinator Zac Robinson brings a fresh schematic look. A healthy Godwin and a Year 2 Egbuka give Mayfield a functional supporting cast. The realistic expectation is a solid QB2 season somewhere between those two years, not a 41-touchdown repeat and not a repeat of an injury-plagued 2025. Good value at his current price.
