2026 Fantasy Football Player Profile

2025 Season Recap

Jared Goff put together another high-volume, high-production season in 2025, his first year without Ben Johnson calling plays. He threw for 4,564 yards with 34 touchdowns across all 17 games, one of just three quarterbacks in the entire league to throw for 30-plus touchdowns, and ranked fourth in weekly top-10 finishes. The Lions kept winning and Goff kept delivering even without the architect of the offense that made him a household fantasy name.

2026 Fantasy Outlook

Here is the thing about Goff heading into 2026: he already proved last season he can produce without Johnson, and that changes the calculus. The concern now is whether Detroit can sustain that level heading into a second year under the new play-caller. The supporting cast of Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, and Sam LaPorta is still intact, and that matters more than most people give it credit for. History tells us Goff is scheme-dependent, but Year 1 without Johnson went better than the skeptics expected. At consensus QB16, the floor is real and the ceiling is higher than his ranking suggests if Detroit keeps rolling. A reasonable buy at his current price.
