2025 Season Recap
Aaron Rodgers came back to Pittsburgh in 2025 and gave the Steelers exactly what they needed: a steady, experienced quarterback who led them to the postseason. He threw for 3,322 yards with 24 touchdowns and 7 interceptions, posting a 94.8 passer rating. At 41, the arm still works. He returned for his 22nd season in May 2026, because apparently retirement is just not something Aaron Rodgers does.
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Rodgers is the consensus QB28 and he actually has a better supporting cast now than he did last season. DK Metcalf is a true alpha receiver, and the trade for Michael Pittman Jr. from Indianapolis gives him a reliable underneath option who can move the chains consistently. The ceiling in a good matchup is a legitimate QB2 week, and Rodgers has always been able to pick apart soft secondaries. The floor is the age-related injury variance that comes with any quarterback entering his age-43 season. We like him as a streaming play in favorable spots, not a set-it-and-forget-it starter. There are worse ways to spend a fifteenth-round pick.
