Running back Adrian Peterson said Reed (foot) has been working out with him in Houston this offseason, Tarik El-Bashir of The Athletic reports.

This news bodes well for Reed's availability for offseason workouts after he finished last season on injured reserve with a sprained foot. However, it isn't clear if Reed is participating under any limitations, and it's possible the Redskins could keep the oft-injured tight end under bubble wrap this spring and summer regardless. Coach Jon Gruden hinted that Joyner may play slot cornerback rather than safety, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.

The Raiders don't have a great alternative to start alongside Karl Joseph at safety, so they may use Joyner at different spots in the base defense and nickel/dime packages. The 2014 second-round pick is joining Oakland on a four-year, $42 million contract after starting 27 games at free safety for the Rams the past two seasons. Given his reliable work in coverage, Joyner should be an asset to the defense wherever he lines up, though Joseph is the better bet for high-end IDP production.

Coach Jay Gruden anticipates Guice (knee) doing individual drills at OTAs and then being a full participant for the start of training camp, Tarik El-Bashir of The Athletic reports.

Guice has been aggressive this offseason with his rehabilitation from a torn ACL, making up for lost time after a post-surgery infection required intravenous antibiotics and three additional procedures. He's posted videos of sprinting and agility workouts on Twitter, though he doesn't quite seem to be cutting at full speed. Washington surely still views the 2018 second-round pick as its lead back of the future, but things could get crowded this upcoming season with passing-down specialist Chris Thompson still under contract and 34-yea-rold Adrian Peterson recently re-signed. That said, Guice has the highest ceiling of the bunch given his combination of youth (turns 22 in June), size (225 pound) and speed (4.49 40). Health and receiving skills are the big question marks.

Baldwin (knee/shoulder/groin) is scheduled for sports hernia surgery in April, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Baldwin needed some time to recover from knee and shoulder surgeries earlier this offseason before he determined if he would need work on his groin/abdomen area. It's a safe bet he'll miss the Seahawks' entire offseason program, with no assurance of being ready for the start of training camp in late July. The typical recovery from sports hernia surgery would give Baldwin plenty of time to get healthy before Week 1, but the issues with his shoulder and knee may complicate the rehab process, as he presumably hasn't been able to do much physical activity since the Seahawks were eliminated from the playoffs. The 30-year-old wideout will have a lot of work to do on his strength and conditioning before he's ready to step foot on a practice field.

Coach Doug Marrone expects Lee (knee) to return late in the preseason, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

Lee suffered a torn ACL during the third week of the 2018 preseason and thus has more than a full year to recover before Week 1 in 2019. It sounds like he won't be ready for spring practices but at least is on track for some degree of participation at the start of training camp. Lee and Dede Westbrook are the early favorites to draw the most targets from new quarterback Nick Foles, though D.J. Chark, Chris Conley and Keelan Cole are also viable candidates to get snaps at wide receiver.

Coach Sean Payton said Tuesday that Cook has signed with the Saints, Rod Walker of The New Orleans Advocate reports.

The deal has been in the works since last week, but neither team nor player had confirmed the signing prior to Payton's comment Tuesday morning. Coming off the best statistical year of his career, Cook will head to New Orleans for his age-32 season, presumably serving as the third or fourth option in a passing attack led by future Hall of Famer Drew Brees. With Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara dominating volume, the Saints only sent 89 targets to their tight ends last season, including 46 to the now-retired Ben Watson. There's a good chance the position becomes a larger part of the passing game with Cook getting the majority of playing time, though he shouldn't need a ton of targets to establish fantasy value while playing with an elite quarterback in a dome.

Jones is signing with the Raiders, Dale Lolley of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

The 2013 fourth-round pick had a lengthy run as the backup quarterback in Pittsburgh, making five starts in five years before he was unseated by Joshua Dobbs and Mason Rudolph during the 2018 preseason. Jones spent a couple weeks with the Jaguars in November and now will head to Oakland to compete against Mike Glennon and Nathan Peterman for the backup job behind Derek Carr.

Jean-Baptiste is re-signing with the Ravens, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

A 2014 second-round pick, Jean-Baptiste never gained any traction with the Saints but did make a bid for the Ravens' 53-man roster in 2018 before a preseason forearm fracture sent him to injured reserve. He'll have a tough time sticking with Baltimore in 2019, as the current group of cornerbacks includes four established starters, a return specialist (Cyrus Jones) and a 2018 fourth-round pick (Anthony Averett). Jean-Baptiste will need to provide significant value on special teams, and he'd help his chances by adding the versatility to play safety and/or slot corner.

General manager Jon Robinson isn't sure if Walker (ankle) will be available April 15 when the Titans begin their offseason program, Jim Wyatt of the team's official website reports.

Still rehabbing from a Week 1 broken ankle, Walker said in early March that his goal is to run and catch passes once the team kicks off on-field practices in May. While he doesn't necessarily need to be ready for workouts by April 15 to make that happen, it would at least be a significant step in the right direction. Fellow tight ends Jonnu Smith (knee) and Anthony Firkser both proved efficient with their limited targets in 2018, but the Titans seem to expect Walker will reclaim a high-usage role for his age-35 season. He did have four straight years with at least 800 receiving yards and 15 games played from 2014 to 2017.
