2026 Fantasy Football Player Profile

2025 Season Recap

Christian McCaffrey was the overall RB1 in full PPR fantasy in 2025, leading all running backs with 416.6 total points and averaging 24.5 points per game. His final line: 311 carries for 1,202 yards and 10 rushing touchdowns, plus 102 catches for 924 yards and seven more scores on 129 targets. Over 400 total touches. He also benefited from Mike Evans joining the receiving corps, which gave Kyle Shanahan another elite weapon to keep defenses from stacking the box. He was, as always, a fantasy force of nature.

2026 Fantasy Outlook

Genuinely the hardest player on this board to rank, McCaffrey checks in as the consensus RB4. When he is healthy, he is the most complete running back in football, full stop. But he turns 30 in June, he just absorbed over 400 touches, and he missed significant time in 2024 before bouncing back. The history of running backs sustaining this kind of workload into their 30s is not encouraging. We are not saying fade him. We are saying draft him in the first round, appreciate what he is, and have a backup plan ready because the injury report is going to give you at least one scare this season.
