Nicolas Claxton (left shoulder) underwent arthroscopic labrum repair surgery on his left shoulder and will not join the team to Orlando for the restart.
The Nets add that he is expected to make a full recovery for training camp next season. Claxton had some shoulder issues in the early part of the 2020 portion of the season, and presumably time off didn't help his shoulder heal. The Nets weren't really using him in the rotation prior to the NBA going on hiatus, but he likely would've had some minutes going his way when the Nets rested Jarrett Allen and/or DeAndre Jordan. He does have fantasy potential, but he'll need some things to happen in 2020-21 to be a target in most leagues. Jun 24 7:47 pm (EST)
