Georges Niang caught fire in 16 minutes on Monday and hit a career-high 7-of-7 3-pointers (the only shots he took) for a season-high 21 points, three rebounds and one assist in an easy win over the Hornets.
If you happened to roll the dice on Niang in DFS he came through in a big way with what was probably the greatest 16 minutes of basketball in his life. He didn't even score in his previous game and has scored in single digits in all but six games this season. This has fluke written all over it, but it was cool to see his teammates douse him in water after his big game. He belongs on the waiver wire in most leagues. Niang, Joe Ingles, Royce O'Neale, Mike Conley, Donovan Mitchell and Jordan Clarkson all hit multiple 3-pointers tonight to help the Jazz set a franchise record of 28 3-pointers made in a game.
