2022 Player Outlook
Hilliard isn’t a great OBP option with a career .301 on-base percentage. His walk rate is typically around 10% while he strikes out over 30% of the time. That held true in 2021, but he at least hit 14 home runs. He performed better at home with a .238 average, but still only hit six home runs at Coors. He only appeared in 81 games last year so the counting stats have some potential, but he shouldn’t be relied upon for batting average or on-base percentage. He’s going very late or undrafted in most fantasy drafts as of January.
