2023 Player Outlook

It was a rebound year for sure for Lindor in 2022. A sluggish 2021 season was to be expected after signing a huge contract with the Mets, that was put in the rearview mirror though in 2022. Just how good was his 26-98-107-16 stat line? Only three players in baseball last year posted at least 25 HR, 95 R, 95 RBI, and 10 steals; those being Aaron Judge, Dansby Swanson, and Lindor. If we lower the runs and RBI to 90 each, the list grows to six players with Shohei Ohtani, Jose Ramirez, and Kyle Schwarber being added. Can he repeat though? There’s nothing in the stat line or batted-ball profile that suggests last year was a fluke and he’s still in his prime. Even at a deep position, Lindor is about as good as it gets.
