2022 Player Outlook

Turner proved that age is just a number in 2021, but can that continue in 2022? He was 36 years old last year and slashed .278/361/.471 with 27 home runs and 87 RBI and runs scored. It was by far one of his healthiest seasons since 2016 as he logged over 600 plate appearances. It is worth mentioning that a hamstring injury ended his postseason in 2021 and he did experience knee and groin injuries in August, but he still managed to appear in 151 games. If he stays healthy and fights against regression there’s a decent floor where he can hit .270 with 25 home runs. But the age and injuries could creep up on him in his age 37 season. He’s currently being drafted around 150th overall and just inside the top 20 at the third base position.
