Once again we have a WNBA DFS slate defined mostly by the health of two of the best players in the game. Sylvia Fowles has already been ruled out due to a right knee injury while Jonquel Jones is in danger of missing her fourth straight game due to COVID protocols. Both teams have been somewhat inconsistent with their star players out, but there will be opportunities for other players to step up and provide significant fantasy value in their absences.

Moriah JeffersonMINCON650023.72###23.25
I don't want to put too much weight on five games that happened more than a month ago, but Moriah Jefferson averaged 26.7 fantasy points with Sylvia Fowles out. Jefferson hasn't scored 20+ fantasy points in a game since the All-Star break, but she should take on more of an offensive load with Fowles out.
DeWanna BonnerCONMIN840026.04###25.85
Bonner has averaged 28.4 fantasy points in her last three games with Jonquel Jones out. Bonner looks like a nice value if Jones cannot go, especially on FanDuel.
Arike OgunbowaleDALIND####32.31###31.13
Ogunbowale has never been consistent for fantasy but she does have a habit of stringing together good performances, so I like her chances following her 47.75 fantasy points against Chicago Friday. In her only game against Indiana this season, Ogunbowale scored 50.5 fantasy points in just 27.4 minutes, and she has actually be better for fantasy on the road than at home.
Tiffany MitchellINDDAL580010.46###10.71
I don't know why Mitchell is playing 25+ MPG for a team that is far and away the worst in the league, but she has done so in four of Indiana's last five games. Mitchell has at least 22.5 fantasy points in three of her last four games, and that is quite valuable at her price.
Tiffany HayesATLSEA880026.56###24.92
The sample size is extremely small, but Tiffany Hayes is averaging 31.7 fantasy points on the road compared to just 18.0 fantasy points at home. She has at least 26.5 fantasy points in all five road games this season.

Tyasha HarrisDALIND510010.99###10.56
Harris looks like the best value-tier guard on the slate, having scored at least 16.75 fantasy points in three of her last four games. With Satou Sabally and Awak Kuier out, Dallas should continue to lean heavily on three-guard lineups, which favors Harris.

Nikolina MilicMINCON470011.39###11.13
Milic scored 19.25 fantasy points in 17 minutes Friday and she should play even more with Sylvia Fowles out. Milic is averaging 0.95 fantasy points per minute this season and while she would be a must-play if she starts, she should be a nice value off the bench.
Jessica ShepardMINCON790024.12###23.32
Shepard was extremely disappointing Friday but she did average 30.0 fantasy points in the five games Sylvia Fowles missed in June. Nikolina Milic looks like the better value but Shepard may have a higher ceiling.
Teaira McCowanDALIND800016.16###15.73
McCowan's playing time has been inconsistent at best, but she will have fewer competition for minutes with Awak Kuier likely out Sunday. McCowan scored 30 fantasy points in 15 minute in her only game against her former team, so there is some obvious upside if she plays 25+ minutes.
Gabby WilliamsSEAATL720020.29###21.11
It can be difficult to evaluate players who are eligible at different positions, especially since FanDuel requires one extra guard and does not have a flex spot. That being said, Williams looks like a solid fantasy play on both sites.
Cheyenne ParkerATLSEA####26.03###26.45
It is hard to believe, but Parker looks like the best top tier forward play on the slate. She has played at least 30 minutes in three straight games with Monique Billings out, averaging 34.25 fantasy points in that span. In two games against Seattle, Parker averaged 29.4 minutes and 37.4 fantasy points. Other forwards may have higher ceilings but Parker looks like a nice value.

Breanna StewartSEAATL####40.34###40.98
Stewart has averaged just 32.8 fantasy points in two games against Atlanta, but I find it hard to believe that will continue. Stewart has at least 36 fantasy points in four of her last five games, and if I had to guess which player will lead the slate in fantasy points, Stewart would be my pick.
Naz HillmonATLSEA750011.63###11.54
Hillmon is coming off a disappointing game Thursday but she has still played at least 30 minutes in four straight games, with at least 23 fantasy points in three of those. She is far too cheap on FanDuel.
