I am back in business tonight with Friday’s 7-game DFS NHL slate. We have a few teams who will be playing their second game in as many nights, including the New York Islanders (2-2-0), Los Angeles Kings (2-2-0), and Florida Panthers (2-1-1). I have provided their records playing without rest in parenthesis.
One thing to keep in mind when considering all the options provided in our DFS NHL Playbooks is that the players outlined on a nightly basis really demonstrate each of our individual styles. Whether it’s Brett, Chris, or myself, we all put a ton of effort in our analysis, and have a lot of commonality in our research, but ultimately, we may see things differently on any given night.
Just from going through the players I’ve highlighted tonight, you’ll see that I am highlighting A LOT of value. The reason I do this is because I feel that value players are extremely integral in constructing lineups, and if you can find a diamond in the rough, it can help your lineups stand out from others. I say this because it’s important to understand that I do not think that Brayden Point is going to get more points than Alex Ovechkin tonight, but I do think that he is more valuable from a DFS standpoint because of his value.
Nonetheless, if you want to pick my brain or just have a question, feel free to reach me on Twitter @kle18. Good luck!
