Marvin Harrison had a nice bounce back game in week 4 with 6 receptions and a team high 66 receiving yards. He also connected with QB Kyler Murray for a TD, and you could just see the relief following the big reception. MHJ still slightly trailed TE Trey McBride in targets and receptions, but they’re the clear top two targets on this team. MHJ is now up to a 20% target share on the season, and has a plus matchup in Week 5. I’ve got Marvin Harrison as a solid WR2 for Week 5.

As much as I want Rashod Bateman to be a thing for fantasy football because of how big of a fan I’ve been since he entered the NFL, it doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen. TE Mark Andrews is starting to get more involved in the offense, and Bateman only had 1 reception for 24 yards on 2 targets in Week 4. Bateman is 3rd among Ravens pass catchers with a 15% target share, but even with bye weeks starting to factor into lineup decisions, I still have him outside of my top 50 WRs for the week.

The struggles continue for Keon Coleman, with 3 straight games under 50 receiving yards since his big game in Week 1. He’s still narrowly leading Bills pass catchers with a 17.9% target share and 25.3% first read percentage on the season, but has struggled to get open recently. One of the best CB’s the NFL has to offer, Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez, is healthy and should line up against Coleman for a good amount of this game. I’m trying to avoid Coleman this week where I can.

Yet another week where Tetairoa McMillan leads the Panthers in targets, where he finished Week 4 with 4 receptions for 62 yards on 8 targets. McMillan has yet to find the end zone in his rookie season, but he’s first among Carolina pass catchers with a 22% target share and 29% first read percentage. The touchdowns will come eventually, but you have to continue to play a guy that’s seen at least 8 targets in every game this season. McMillan is in a good spot with a plus matchup this week, and is a borderline top 12 WR for me this week.

Matching up against Pat Surtain with a backup QB throwing you the ball went about how you would expect, with Ja'Marr Chase finishing Week 4 with 5 receptions for 23 yards on 8 targets. The good news is that Chase is still the target leader in this Bengals passing offense without Joe Burrow. The bad news is that he’s been outside of the top 40 fantasy WRs in back-to-back weeks. I’m going to continue to rank Ja'Marr Chase inside my top 12 WRs on a weekly basis, but you definitely need to be looking for upside in other areas of your lineup to help offset the low floor concerns that come with a Bengals passing offense without QB Joe Burrow.

Jamari Thrash is expected to see an increased role with Cedric Tillman landing on IR, but this shouldn’t mean much for fantasy managers. Thrash only has 5 targets on the season, and is still the 4th or 5th option in the passing offense at best. Thrash can be avoided in all formats, especially in a week where he has a matchup with Vikings CB Isaiah Rodgers who is playing like one of the better CB’s in the NFL.
Wide ReceiverTeamDK / FD PPG

George Pickens had no issues in his first game as the Cowboys lead WR against a tough Packers defense where he ended up with 8 receptions and 134 yards on 11 targets. Pickens also found the end zone twice in the Cowboys first game without star WR CeeDee Lamb while he manages his ankle injury. Pickens has a potential shadow situation against Jets CB Sauce Gardner this week, however, Gardner has not played up to his usual standard as he’s on pace for a career low PFF grade. Pickens is a top 10 WR for me this week.

Courtland Sutton had another solid outing in Week 4, finishing the game with 5 receptions and 81 receiving yards on 6 targets. He also scored a touchdown for the 3rd time in 4 games this year as well. Sutton is currently tied for the team lead with a 19.7% target share, but still has a team high 26% first read percentage. Despite the tough matchup against Eagles CB Quinyon Mitchell, I’ve got Sutton as a solid WR2 play for Week 5.

Jameson Williams has been a boom-or-bust WR for most of his career, but has been more bust than boom so far this season. Williams only has one game with over 50 receiving yards on the season and is 3rd among Lions pass catchers with a 16.4% target share. While the increase in targets fantasy managers were hoping for hasn’t been there, he’s still flashed his big play ability with a team high yards per target and yards per reception. He did also lead the Lions in targets in Week 4, so hopefully more consistent production will eventually follow. Williams continues to be a boom-or-bust low-end WR2 or high-end WR3, but has a good matchup this week.

It hasn’t been the season fantasy managers were hoping for after investing a late first or early second round pick on Nico Collins, but he once again led Texans pass catchers with 79 receiving yards on 6 targets. Collins still comfortably leads all Houston pass catchers with a 26.5% target share and 31% first read percentage, but it would definitely be nice to see the Texans offensive line give QB C.J. Stroud a little more time to be able to hit Nico for big plays on a more frequent basis. Collins remains a must start WR with the volume he’s seeing despite the offenses struggles.

I’m sure Colts fans can’t wait to see Alec Pierce back in the lineup after Adonai Mitchell made a couple of huge mistakes while filling in for the injured Pierce in Week 4, but fantasy managers shouldn’t be as eager to put him in their fantasy lineups. Pierce remains the 4th option in this passing offense and should only be considered as an occasional DFS dart throw.

The disappointing season for Brian Thomas continued in Week 4, who only had 5 receptions for 49 yards on a team high 7 targets. BTJ has also yet to find the end zone so far in 2025. He still has a slight lead with a 21.5% target share on the season, but the ball has been pretty spread around among 4-5 different pass catchers so far in Jacksonville this season. If the targets continue to be there, the fantasy points have to eventually start to follow, but BTJ remains a low-end WR2 or high-end WR3 in my rankings for the time being.

Xavier Worthy wasted no time getting acclimated to the Chiefs offense, immediately leading all Kansas City pass catchers with 5 receptions for 83 yards on 8 targets as well as another 2 rushing attempts for 38 rushing yards. This level of involvement in his first action of the season was the best-case scenario fantasy managers could have hoped for. Xavier Worthy is right back into my top 20 WRs for the week, and back into must start territory.

Pretty much anything is going to be considered a disappointment whenever you’re trying to follow up a game where you put up 145 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns, but I don’t think anyone was expecting Tre Tucker to follow that up with only 2 receptions and 13 receiving yards on 2 targets. Given the fact that he’s been more of a boom-or-bust WR across his career, this is exactly what we should have expected the follow up performance to look like. Tucker has a plus matchup this week, but he’s not a must start option. I’ve got Tucker right around WR40 for Week 5 in my rankings.

Quentin Johnston continues to look like a brand new player during his year three breakout, leading all Chargers pass catchers with 8 receptions for 98 yards on 13 targets. Johnston also had a receiving touchdown for the 3rd time in 4 games, and now has 4 TDs on the season. While targets continue to be pretty evenly distributed among the Chargers top 3 options, Johnston remains the one with the most upside due to the consistent targets coupled with a team high in yards per target and yards per reception among Chargers pass catchers that are playing meaningful snaps. I’ve got Johnston as my highest ranked Chargers WR for Week 5, just inside my top 12.

Jaylen Waddle finished Week 4 with 3 receptions for 48 yards on 6 targets, but should be positioned to see an increased workload moving forward with Tyreek Hill expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury. Waddle is currently 2nd among Dolphins pass catchers with a 19% target share, but you can expect that to increase moving forward. Carolina has a solid secondary, but Waddle should see enough volume for him to be a high-end WR2 in Week 5.

His first receiving touchdown of the season ended up saving his fantasy day, but the run game was the focus of the offense for the Saints in this game. Olave continues to have a safe floor with the PPR volume that he’s seeing, but the poor QB play will continue to limit his upside. I’ve got Olave just inside my top 24 WRs for Week 5.

Darius Slayton finished Week 4 with 3 receptions for 44 yards on 4 targets, but should be expected to see an uptick in targets with Malik Nabers set to miss the remainder of the season with an injury. Slayton was productive in the two games that Nabers missed in 2024, but it’s hard to know if that will be the case again in 2025 with rookie Jaxson Dart taking over the starting QB role. The 49ers will be without starting WRs Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall, and Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle are both still injured as well. The 49ers will also be without starting QB Brock Purdy, so Mac Jones will take over signal calling duties for the Thursday Night game against the Rams. Week 4 was a weird one for Seattle’s WR1 Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who the Seahawks were getting involved in the run game just to get the ball in their star WRs hands in the first half. JSN didn’t get his first reception until near the end of the 3rd quarter but still ended up tied for the team lead with 5 targets and finished with 4 receptions for 79 yards. Even in a weird game with odd usage, JSN still managed to finish as a borderline top 24 WR for the week, and should continue to be started with confidence regardless of matchup. However, the majority of that production came on a busted coverage play that went for a 77 yard touchdown. Busted coverage or not, Egbuka continues to produce and now has 4 TDs on the season. Egbuka has more target competition with Chris Godwin now healthy, but Mike Evans is missing time with an injury, so Egbuka should continue to have a safe floor with a solid ceiling as well. Flowers still leads the team with a 27.5% target share and remains a must start player on a weekly basis. The 49ers will be without starting WRs Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall, and Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle are both still injured as well. This provides Demarcus Robinson with an increased opportunity against his former team, but I’m not sure fantasy managers should be so quick to plug him into their lineups. The 49ers will also be without starting QB Brock Purdy, so Mac Jones will take over signal calling duties for the Thursday Night game against the Rams. With the uncertainty of how snaps will be distributed, and how tough the Rams secondary has been this season, I would be trying to stay away from Robinson this week.

After seeing 4 targets in back-to-back games, rookie Tory Horton took a step back in Week 4 with only 1 reception for 10 yards on 2 targets. Cooper Kupp ended up being the 2nd option in the passing game for Week 4, and Horton has yet to surpass 40 receiving yards in one game this season. Horton has exciting athletic ability, but he can’t be trusted in fantasy lineups until the usage improves. I’ve got Horton just outside of my top 50 WRs for Week 5.

Chris Godwin made his season debut in Week 4 and immediately went back to a full-time player, playing 81% of snaps and getting targeted 10 times. Unfortunately, Godwin only finished with 3 receptions for 26 yards, but there should be better days ahead moving forward. Things will get murky whenever Mike Evans returns from injury, but Godwin should be a clear top two option in this passing offense until that happens. Godwin is just outside my top 30 WRs for Week 5.

It was yet another disappointing game for Calvin Ridley in Week 4, who finished with 2 receptions for 30 yards on 3 targets, all of which were season lows for the veteran WR. It’s important to keep in mind that Ridley has had to matchup with Derek Stingley and Pat Surtain in two of his first four games, but his production is going to have a tough time improving if his time on the field continues to decrease. Ridley ran a season low 12 routes in Week 4, which was 3rd among Titans WRs. It’s been reported that Ridley is dealing with an injury, so his status needs to be monitored throughout the week.

Rookie WR Jaylin Lane ran only 10 routes in Week 4, and ended up with 1 reception for 18 yards on his only target. Even with the injury to Terry McLaurin, Lane should continue to be avoided in all formats.

In Week 4 Khalil Shakir led Bills pass catchers with 5 receptions for 69 yards on 5 targets. He also found the end zone for the second straight week, but I wouldn’t expect this to continue since he’s already half way to his career high in receiving touchdowns in a season. The only issue is how spread out the targets are, with 4 different players with a target share over 13%, but no one with a target share over 18%. Shakir should be a solid WR3 or flex option, and has one of the better matchups among Bills pass catchers this week.

Troy Franklin continued to build onto his solid sophomore season in Week 4, with 4 receptions and 55 yards on a team high 8 targets. Franklin is now tied with Courtland Sutton with a team high 19.7% target share and is the clear 2nd option in the Broncos passing offense. I’ve got Franklin as a WR4 in Week 5 due to the tough matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles secondary.

Amon-Ra St. Brown’s impressive 2025 season continued in Week 4 with a team high 7 receptions and 70 receiving yards on 7 targets. St. Brown also had his second multi TD game on the season and has now scored 6 TDs over the last 3 weeks. There’s not much to say here. Amon-Ra is a must start WR every week and is my WR2 overall for Week 5.

Travis Hunter ended up playing a little more offense in Week 4, running 21 total routes and finishing the game with 3 receptions for a season high 42 receiving yards on 5 targets. While it’s encouraging to see the offensive snaps start to trend back in the right direction, it’s tough to trust Hunter in your fantasy lineups right now. To make things even more complicated, Hunter has probably the most favorable matchup of any Jaguars pass catcher this week. I’ve got Hunter just inside my top 40 WRs for Week 5.

Jakobi Meyers saw his targets tick back up in Week 4 with a team high 7 targets but still had a season low 30 receiving yards. With Ashton Jeanty and the Raiders running game stealing the show, there wasn’t much asked of the Raiders pass catchers. Meyers still has a team high 24.4% target share on the season and has a plus matchup against the Colts secondary in Week 5. I’ve got Meyers just inside my top 24 WRs for this week.

Ladd McConkey once again saw a decent number of targets, with 6 more targets in Week 4, but only ended up with 1 reception for 11 yards. McConkey is 3rd among Chargers pass catchers with an 18% target share on the season but gets a matchup with a Commanders defense that struggles against slot WRs, which is where Ladd has lined up for almost 63% of his snaps on the season.

Stefon Diggs continues to get more involved in the Patriots offense, finishing Week 4 with a season-high 63% of snaps where he saw 7 targets that he turned into 6 receptions for 101 receiving yards. Diggs leads all Patriots WRs with a 17.7% target share but is still slightly behind TE Hunter Henry on the season. Diggs increased involvement in the passing offense has him just outside of my top 24 WRs for Week 5 and should be a solid play as a WR3.

Wan’Dale Robinson was tied for the team lead with 5 targets in Week 4, but ended up with a disappointing 14 yards on 3 receptions for the game. After seeing 8+ targets each of the first two weeks of the season, Robinson has 9 targets over the last two weeks. He should see an uptick in targets with star WR Malik Nabers set to miss the rest of the season, but he’s been relatively disappointing outside of the one big game in Week 2 against the Cowboys. I’ve got Robinson as a WR3 due to the potential for increased targets and a plus matchup, but we’ll need to continue to monitor his usage to determine if he’s going to be a weekly starting option moving forward.

The Eagles passing offense was once again underwhelming in Week 4, and DeVonta Smith’s fantasy managers definitely felt the pain that comes with that. Smith finished with only 2 receptions for 29 yards on 2 targets, and has been a bust for fantasy managers in 3 out of 4 weeks this season. You would think that things would eventually have to improve, but the Eagles simply don’t need to pass the ball to win games very often, and prefer to be a run first offense any time they can. I’ve got Smith just inside my top 30 WRs for Week 5, but he’s going to continue to carry a very low floor on a weekly basis.

With Terry McLaurin inactive with an injury, Deebo Samuel once again served as the Commanders WR1, and finished with a team-high 6 receptions for 72 yards on 6 targets and scored his second receiving touchdown of the season. Deebo was involved in the rushing game as well but only had 9 rushing yards on 3 carries. Terry McLaurin is trending toward missing once again in Week 5, so I’ve got Deebo as a top 15 WR despite the tough matchup against the Chargers secondary.
