Fantasy Football Streamers & Stashes For Week 17 Of The 2025 NFL Season
Folks, it’s been a fun year in this article. We’ve hit on some slow-burning breakouts, and we’ve saved ourselves with some desperation deep plays. Fortunately, for those still reading this, the championship week is here. Unfortunately, that means the time for “stashing” players is done. So we’re just going to focus on deep league fantasy football streamers for NFL Week 17 that were too deep to include in the main waiver wire article this week. Good luck taking home that trophy!
Best Fantasy Football Streamers For 2025 Week 17
What is a Streamer?
A streamer is a player that you can actually start in your lineup currently. They might not be the flashiest players, but they won’t get you a zero. In deeper leagues with a lot of starting spots, you may need to call on them from time to time - especially when bye weeks and injuries come around.
Week 17 QB Streamers To Target
Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints
Yahoo: 13% | ESPN: 5% | Sleeper: 21%
Tyler Shough is our top play from the main waiver wire article, and that applies here, too. Check that link for the full details.
Kirk Cousins, Atlanta Falcons
Yahoo: 9% | ESPN: 7% | Sleeper: 18%
Desperate times call for desperate measures. There are a lot of injuries out there. In some of these deep leagues, you might not be able to just grab a normal guy. Cousins is far from “normal." And he doesn’t have the best matchup. But he’s got Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and Bijan Robinson. And that’s seen him put together a handful of serviceable games. So you could do worse.
- Honorable Mention or Deep League Options: Philip Rivers, Bryce Young
NFL Week 17 Running Back Streamers
Michael Carter, Arizona Cardinals
Yahoo: 42% | ESPN: 39% | Sleeper: 51%
This is the top play from our main article as well, but he’s rostered in a lot of leagues so far, so he might not be easy to get.
Dylan Sampson, Cleveland Browns
Yahoo: 11% | ESPN: 7% | Sleeper: 14%
The season is over for Quinshon Judkins. If Sampson is back, here’s the guy we want. If he’s not, then Raheim Sanders is the best bet. In very deep leagues, Trayveon Williams would be the pass-down back if Sampson can’t go.
- Honorable Mentions: Blake Corum, Jawhar Jordan (if Woody Marks is out), Tyler Allgeier, Tyjae Spears
Top WR Streamers For Week 17
Adonai Mitchell, New York Jets
Yahoo: 19% | ESPN: 33% | Sleeper: 43%
Mitchell remains the top move if he’s available in your league. The floor is low, but the ceiling is at least high. More on that in the main waiver wire article.
Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars,
Yahoo: 24% | ESPN: 13% | Sleeper: 33%
Parker Washington might not have the ceiling that Adonai Mitchell has, but his floor is better. We gave the full info on him in the main waiver wire article as well.
Adam Thielen, Pittsburgh Steelers
Yahoo: 3% | ESPN: 6% | Sleeper: 7%
There are two options here with DK Metcalf out. Marquez Valdes-Scantling is a dart throw because of his high aDot and big play ability. But he also came out for virtually all run plays as he’s not a good run blocker. Thielen, to me, is more likely to take on a big role and run more intermediate routes, which are often more fantasy-friendly. We don’t love it, but it’s an option. He’s rostered in under 10% on every platform.
- Honorable Mentions: Luther Burden, Mack Hollins, Jalen Coker
Week 17 TE Streamers You Can Trust
Colston Loveland, Chicago Bears
Yahoo: 43% | ESPN: 44% | Sleeper: 57%
As we talked about in the main article, we feel better about this play if Rome Odunze and/or Luther Burden are out again. But Loveland has offered a pretty decent floor all along the way, even with those guys active. The WRs being in or out have more of an effect on his upside.
AJ Barner, Seattle Seahawks
Yahoo: 12% | ESPN: 16% | Sleeper: 27%
Ever since Elijah Arroyo got hurt, AJ Barner has played a much bigger snap share. This past week, he played 94% of the snaps and ran 87% of the routes. And he’s seen 6 targets in each of the past two games. He’s also pretty widely available, which helps.
- Honorable Mentions: Taysom Hill, Theo Johnson, Terrance Ferguson
